The Biggest Winners and Losers of Week 1 of the 2025 NFL Season

At long last, we've gotten through the dredge of the offseason, made it through training camps and preseason, and have finally arrived at the real deal; football is back. Week 1 gave a lot of surprises, and a lot of the same teams from last year dominating. The NFL Player Turned Zealot Killer: The Story Of Robert Rozier

When you think of NFL Players who turned to lives of crime after their careers, you may think of people like O.J. Simpson or Mercury Morris; star players who went and did illegal things. Maybe you think of someone like Lawrence Phillips, whose turbulent life was heavily documented. However, among the names, one seems to be relatively unknown. Robert Rozier had short stints in both the NFL and CFL, and after his career fizzled out, became a key piece in one of the largest and deadliest cults in Florida in the 1980's. Early Life and Football Career Robert Rozier was born on July 28, 1955, in Alaska. Rozier was the son of a member of the U.S. Air Force, and they moved from Alaska to California when he was young.  Not much is known about Rozier's home life, but he went to high school at Cordovo High School in Rancho Cordovo, California.
